​ANZAED Autumn Workshop Series Scholarship (CLOSED)

This award is for clinicians who are currently residing in Victoria. The successful recipient will demonstrate that their attendance at the upcoming ANZAED AWS will be of substantial benefit to their development in the field of eating disorders, as well as to their workplace, colleagues, community, and/or clients.

Eligibility Criteria 

  1. A personal statement (of no more than 500 words) addressing the selection criteria (i.e., explaining 1. The potential benefit of the Scholarship to the Applicant’s career, and 2. The potential benefit of the Scholarship for the Applicant’s colleagues, workplace, clients, and/or community)
  2. Current members of the ANZAED Executive Committee are not eligible to apply.

A number of spots available for clinicians to attend this year’s workshop. This scholarship includes full 2-day workshop registration.

​ANZAED Early Career Autumn Workshop Series Scholarship

The deadline for this Award was Friday 23 December. The successful applicant has been notified.

This award is for early career clinicians who are current ANZAED members, and wish to pursue a career as a clinician treating eating disorders. Applicants will be undertaking their clinical training, or within the first 3 years of their clinical degree (career disruptions excepted). The successful recipient will demonstrate that their attendance at the upcoming ANZAED AWS will be of substantial benefit to their development as a clinician in the field of eating disorders, as well as to their workplace, colleagues, community, and/or clients.

To apply, applicants will need to provide:

  1. Evidence of date clinical/health professional degree was awarded (and a statement of career disruption, if applicable), or a letter from supervisor/program director confirming student status
  2. A personal statement (of no more than 500 words) addressing the selection criteria (i.e., explaining 1. The potential benefit of the Scholarship to the Applicant’s career, and 2. The potential benefit of the Scholarship for the Applicant’s colleagues, workplace, clients, and/or community)
  3. A current curriculum vitae

Eligibility Criteria 

  1. Applicants must be members of ANZAED, and
  2. Applicants must be currently undertaking their clinical or health professional degree/training or within 3 years of completion. Career disruptions that result in an applicant being > 3 years post completion will be taken into consideration.
  3. Current members of the ANZAED Executive Committee are not eligible to apply.

One (1) scholarship is available for clinicians to attend this year’s workshop. This scholarship includes full registration plus $450 travel and accommodation expenses.
